A bill sponsored to create strengthened Human Trafficking laws ahead of the 2014 Superbowl is signed into legislation by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.  The bill has several provisions including:
1) penalties for publishers who fail to verify that advertisers are minors
2) establishing "john schools" to educate them on exploitation
3) a provision to vacate convictions (compelled by traffickers) for victims of trafficking.

This new legislation applies both to victims of labor and sex trafficking.
