Project Mgmt at FYP


"Freedom Youth Project Foundation was founded in 2010 as a human rights organization, dedicated to fighting and preventing human trafficking of youth in America primarily through Public Awareness, Prevention and Restoration."    

Guiding Principles
The green-lighting of an initiative depends on whether the initiative meets the following scope guiding principles.
  1. Initiatives must fall into one or more of 3 categories: Public Awareness, Prevention, Restoration
  2. Mitigation strategies must focus on addressing underlying factors and root causes
  3. Initiatives must focus on trafficking in America
  4. Initiatives must focus of trafficking of youth
  5. Initiatives must focus on sex-trafficking

Public Awareness Projects

DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

TRAINING DEV: Truth About Trafficking in America - (2012) improvement to "public awareness" presentation. New slide graphics, short soundbyte video clips to support small points.

WEB DEV: TraffickCentral.org (2012)- resource website for  anti-trafficking organizations, law enforcement and coalitions.  Designed to provide valuable tools, training and facilitate inter-agency collaboration.

Rebranding of FYP to ThinkFreedom Campaign-   Requires redesign of primary website, twitter and Facebook.  Primarily involves web design, graphic design, changes to social media and wholistic communication strategy.

Future
IT DEV: Think Freedom iPhone/ Android App
Pubic awareness application which will serve multiple purposes towards our stated goals and objectives.  App will serve as a simple tool to allow anyone to become a "presenter" on the issue of child sex-trafficking.  App will provide updates of happenings at FYP, and provide simple viral tool for anyone with app to make a small donation to help fund our work.

DELIVERY PROJECTS
                                     
Freedom-U

The goal of Freedom U is to engage university & college students in the movement to end the trafficking of children and young people in this country.  This event  will provide attendees with knowledge, skills and tools to become advocates for their younger peers who are at highest risk from the deceptions used to lure victims into the world of human trafficking.

Liars and Posers (Prevention Training) - (contin. improvement) new graphic design incorporated in to presentation, more audience interactive presentation, and  shorter sound byte video clips to support training points.

CURRICULUM DEV: LnP Certification Program-  training and certification for Liars and Posers Seminar Leaders to develop qualified delivery channels for prevention trainings outside our primary market and eventually nationwide.

Faith Community Database of churches in Bexar County and surrounding area.  Build a database of church, pastor,youth pastor, youth group leader(s), festival date

Develop database in Bexar County of Churches and Faith Based Organizations,  to promote Liars and Posers Seminar for youth.  State 0

LAUNCH Liars and Posers Certification Program. Target nonprofits, anti trafficking groups, school districts to train their staff to deliver Liars and Posers Training to their clients and population they serve.

Database Development: Social Service Agencies (2013-2014)- Database of all social service agencies in Bexar and Surrounding counties to connect, develop referral database and market training for professionals.

Red-Flags  of Detection -  develop a teachable system for professionals to recognize victims of domestic minor sex-trafficking

Training for Professionals 
Develop a standard schedule of Training for professionals to deliver our own developed training courses on human trafficking.  Training would be marketed to social service agencies, medical professionals and law enforcement.

In addition market:  Staff Development training directly to agencies held at their offices.
