SSID Nat'l Night Out

Freedom Youth Project
was honored to be a part of
SSISD National Night Out Event where an estimated 1,000 people attended. The SSISD National Night Out Event brought together several different organizations from the community.   Some of the other organizations included ChildSafe and the Heide Search Center, local Law Enforcement and others.

Our goal at this event, was to connect with  parents and children.  It is through PUBLIC AWARENESS that parents learn their parental choices impact how attractive their children are to predators.   Many parents decided to allow us to provide a free Digital Emergency ID of their children.  This ID is something parents can keep on their cell phone, and will always have available to duplicate by email or text in case of emergency. The National Night Event was a great success and a great opportunity for us to be able to connect with our community about the issues of human trafficking.
