Freedom Youth Project Volunteer Training Event

Freedom Youth Project presented its Volunteer Training Event on Saturday March 16, 2013 to members of the San Antonio community. The training event presented important information on the Truth of Human Trafficking in America and how it is currently affecting people across the United States. The training included real life videos of victims of human trafficking, techniques that traffickers employ to coerce children into trafficking, hotspots for human trafficking in the San Antonio area, as well as a simple system that teaches youth how to recognize deception. The training event also included information on current projects that Freedom Youth Project is working on, as well as a list of ways that community members can get involved. The training event was a great way for everyone to get to know one another and network with people who share the same passions of putting an end to human trafficking.
