4/15/2012 - Cru for a Cause 5K

The University of Mary Hardin Baylor's annual 5K Cru for a Cause selected Freedom Youth Project as its beneficiary for the event. The University sponsored event's main speaker, Saul Castellanos of Freedom Youth Project, addressed the runners and other attendees on the topic of Human Trafficking in America. Students from the group CRU for the Cause organized, planned and ran the event which was a success on many levels. The event was family friendly and included things for children to participate, and a silent auction to raise funds. We at Freedom Youth Project Foundation are grateful for the genuine outpouring support from students, faculty and administration at Mary Hardin Baylor University. We would like to thank Kathlee Roscoe for opening the door to make this event possible & Christan Hammands for all the work organizing this event.
