You Can Make a Difference! Human Trafficking is a 32 billion dollar global issue. How can I possibly make a difference? How do I join? All you need is to be currently enrolled in a college or university and have a valid Student I.D. What is the process like to join Freedom-U Student Anti-Trafficking Movement? The process is as simple as 1, 2, 3! Fill out a short questionnaire, read and sign our volunteer agreement and complete our online training. What does it cost? There is no cost to join. In order to connect with our web-based system you will need a Gmail email account. What will I be expected to do? You will be trained to better understand human trafficking. This will prepare you to be assigned as part of a larger team micro-project-work or tasks that fit in with larger project deliverables to prevent and combat human trafficking. What is a Micro-Project? A micro-project is a task or deliverable assigned to you that allows you to contribute a small amount of time working on something that combines with other’s work into a larger more significant deliverable. Much of this work will allow you to contribute work related to your field of study while doing real-world work. Micro-project work will usually allow you work around your school and/or work schedule, interact with with team members with our on-line project management system. Why is is this a great opportunity?
