Freedom Youth Project Foundation’s CEO and Board member team up to present Truth about Trafficking in America.  Unfortunately, the media narrative about human trafficking leaves most Americans to view this issue strictly as a 3rd world-global issue. With respect to trafficking in United States, this false perception is that this crime consists primarily of foreign nationals brought here to be trafficked. This presentation is thoughtfully organized to illustrate “The Life-Cycle of Human Trafficking.”  In this presentation, attendees will learn how traffickers use deception and manipulation to get victims to go willingly into this life.  You will learn who victims are, how Americans outnumber foreign national victims by a factor or 20-to-1, where they come from, and how they are deceived into this life.  Presentation provides insights into victim challenges during recovery.   This presentation will provide an overview of a simple system to teach youth how to recognize deception used by human traffickers.
